Emma Roberts: “I have really crooked teeth — they give me character”

Emma Roberts has spoken about her “crooked teeth”.

The actress, who is the niece of Julia Roberts, says it’s a Roberts family thing.

“I have really crooked teeth — they give me character! We Robertses have too many teeth for our mouths,” she said.

Acting is another thing that runs in the family. 20-year-old Emma got to visit sets when she was younger.

“I grew up around sets … I would visit my aunt all the time and I just loved it,” she said. “I was fascinated by the whole thing. You’d have to drag me off the set every time I was there!”

“Sometimes it’s frustrating because people think I’m only working or doing stuff because of my family when that’s not true at all,” she said last year.

“We actually try to keep work life and family life completely separate, so it’s just frustrating when I hear that because I’ve worked really hard.”

“But I just have to fight for myself, fight to be accepted in a way and make my own name for myself.”
