Ireland is a special place to the McFly boys.

RTE.ie are reporting that, speaking about the band’s upcoming concert in Dublin’s O2 Arena, guitarist Tom Fletcher said: “Ireland’s always been good to us.”

“We always get nostalgic when we play there because it was the very first proper show we did. Seven years ago when we supported Busted.”

“It always holds a special place in our hearts.”

“It’s certainly been a journey. We were boys when we started – I was 17 at the time.”
