Kate Hudson used “witchy” test to tell baby’s sex

Kate Hudson has revealed that she used a “witchy” test to try and tell what sex her unborn baby is.

The actress, who is expecting a baby with Muse singer Matt Bellamy, did the “pendulum test” – which predicted that she is having a girl.

“So here’s the pendulum test,” she said. “You take a piece of hair and you take a ring, and you string it through — this is very witchy of me!

“And then what you do is you hold it over your stomach. And then if it moves in a circle, it’s a girl and a boy goes back and forth.”

It’s tried and tested for Kate. She did the same thing when she was expecting son Ryder – and it’s predicted a boy.

“How crazy is that? I’ve had no dreams I’m having a girl. And with Ryder it was back-and-forth,” she said.
