Justin Bieber says Selena Gomez is his friend, and he’s playing the field

Justin Bieber has quashed the rumours that Selena Gomez is his girlfriend.

The 17-year-old singer is rumoured to be dating 18-year-old Selena, but not only did he says he is just his friend, but also that he is dating around.

During a recent interview for a New Zealand television program, Justin said of Selena: “She’s one of my best friends,”

“I think that’s an important thing in my life is dating around and having some sort of a personal life.”

Sad news for Jelena fans, who were holding out for a romance between the teen pop stars – or is this just to throw us off the scent?
