Adam Lambert talks inspiration behind new album

Adam Lambert has dished a little more on his new album – which he is currently working on.

“I’ve learned a lot over the past two years, I’m really proud of my previous album,and [the new album] is going to be even more a showcase of who I really am.” he told Fox All Access.

Adam also revealed what is inspiring him at the moment.

“I love pop music, I love what’s out there right now, I love the risks people are taking, I love fashion – and ultimatly I think as a writer I really like the idea of calling things out, whether it be about myself, about society.

“I like keeping it real. I think sometimes in the entertainment industry theres a lot of pageantry,” he added.

“What I’m really trying to do with this album is strip that back a little bit and talk about my true feelings – the good and the bad.”

Adam’s second studio album is due for release this autumn.
