Don’t know Adam Lambert yet? You soon will…
If you haven’t heard of Adam Lambert yet, brace yourself – he’s gonna take over the world!
A little bit of drama kicked off last night when Nakia performed a cover of Adam’s Grammy nominated track Whatya Want From Me on talent show The Voice.
Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine was clearly impressed by the cover, but may have accidentally dissed the super-talented Mr Lambert in the process.
“I’m actually not familiar with that song but you just forced me to like it,” Adam said. “I’m pretty sure that, although I haven’t heard that song before, you probably sang it better than the person that sang it originally.”
This clearly upset Adam fans who took to Twitter to call-out Mr Levine about his comments.
“I had honestly never heard that song before.” he tweeted. “I thought that @nakia made me like a song that would have otherwise fallen flat. I’m NOT sorry.”
It doesn’t really matter if he’s sorry or not, Lambert doesn’t mind and has promised that after his next album Levine will know exactly who he is.
“I think Adam might know who I am after this next album. Get ready for me Levine.” he tweeted.
“But for the record, Im def a Maroon 5 fan. Fans: there is NO reason to be angry. Thanks for being protective but it’s all good.”
It’s classy comments like these that prove our original point – Adam Lambert is the nicest man on Twitter.
