Video: Weird Al’s Lady GaGa Parody – Perform This Way

We’re loving Weird Al Yankovic’s new music video for Perform This Way.

The king of the parody has taken on Lady GaGa hit track Born This Way, resulting in a hilarious song and music video.

Taken from his new album, Alpocalypse, the track pokes fun at Lady GaGa and her weird outfits.

It’s hard not to be a bit spooked seeing Weird Al’s head superimposed on lady’s body.

The track was nearly axed from the album when a rep for GaGa said she didn’t like the song, but when GaGa did hear it she gave it the thumbs up.

Yankovic thanked her in a blog post, saying: “I’m thrilled on many levels to hear this, because 1) I truly respect and admire Gaga as an artist and it pained me to think of her as having less than a great sense of humor, and 2) it means I GET TO PUT OUT MY ALBUM!

“As promised, all my proceeds from the song (and the MUSIC VIDEO… I can’t wait…) will go to the Human Rights Campaign. Thank you, Gaga. And thanks to everybody who had my back,” he added.
