Demi Lovato says Joe Jonas knew about her issues

Demi Lovato says that her ex boyfriend Joe Jonas knew exactly what she was going through.

Demi is getting her life and career back on track after a stint in a treatment facility for her physical and emotional issues – this means she’s having no trouble opening up about the past.

According to Hollywoodlife.com, chatting during with Ryan Seacrest Show on his radio show, Demi told him about the difficult journey that has led her to where she is now. She also admitted that her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas knew about her emotional struggles and eating disorder.

When asked if Joe knew what she was going through, Demi replied, “He was my best friend for like years prior to that, so he knew. I mean when we first shot the first movie together…”

As Demi trailed off, Ryan asked if Joe was there for her during her treatment – she vaguely answered yes.

“Yeah, I’ve had a lot of support, and you know obviously I’m not super close with him anymore just because a lot has happened, but I was very thankful to have the support of many many friends.” revealed Demi.
