Selena Gomez aimed for Victoria Beckham accent

Selena Gomez has revealed that she was aiming to copy Victoria Beckham’s accent for a recent movie.

18-year-old Selena worked with a vocal coach to perfect her accent for flick Monte Carlo.

“We wanted the accent to be almost very Victoria Beckham, kind of very posh and sophisticated,” she said.

“I had a coach for two weeks before the film, so I worked with her very closely and then we had her on set guiding me.”

Obviously we’re talking about Vic’s speaking voice and not her singing voice…
