Cheryl Cole swaps numbers with a ‘gorgeous’ young corporal?!

It seems Cheryl Cole may have bagged herself a new man after swapping numbers with a “gorgeous” solider in Afghanistan.

Cheryl Cole boosted a little more than morale on a recent trip to Camp Bastion in Helmand Province. The ‘Fight for this love’ singer admits she swapped numbers with a hunky young corporal after taking a shine to him during her trip last week. We can’t say we blame her!

Cheryl confessed to The Mirror: “Not only are the soldiers incredibly brave, a few were also incredibly cute. I actually came back with a phone number from one lad….”

“He started chatting to me after I’d been shot at during a training exercise. Obviously it wasn’t real ammunition, but it was still terrifying.”

The star continued: “Anyway, I think I am going to call him this week and we’ll see what happens. I’m sure he’s not expecting me to ring but that’s why it’ll be funny – and that’s why I’m going to do it.”

Just as we were getting excited, Cheryl continued “Long-distance relationships are a nightmare – a big time difference is a killer because it’s just so hard to stay in touch.”
