McFly’s Harry Judd is feeling the pressure as Strictly Come Dancing debut looms
Poor Harry, he hasn’t stepped out onto the dance floor yet but he’s already starting to feel the pressure to perform well on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Harry’s bandmate Danny Jones has revealed that the drummer is feeling stressed after being named one of the favourites to win the BBC One dancing competition.
“I spoke to him yesterday and he said he was mentally and physically drained…He says it’s exhausting and he’s only just started. He’s already aching a bit and he’s got a bad back from one of the moves.”
“He’s only just started training. Harry told me he’s a bit stressed about it but he doesn’t really ever moan. He just gets on with it. He is extremely competitive and committed though. He won’t want to lose so he’s definitely in it to win it.” Danny told the Daily Star Sunday.
When asked about the rumours that the show was a fix due to Harry’s ‘unfair advantage‘ after appearing on Strictly Come Dancing for Children In Need, Danny added: “Some of the other contestants have danced before too. Harry doesn’t come from a stage background so he’s not an expert like people are making him out to be.”
Harry is already suffering from rehearsals with partner Aliona Vilani and has shared his ouchy with the world via Twitter. Click here to see a photo of Harry’s swollen ‘bare’ foot!
Strictly Come Dancing returns to our screens on Friday 30th September with Harry showing us his moves on Saturday 1st October.
