Demi Lovato: “I’m in a much happier and healthier place”

Demi Lovato is back on track after her breakdown.

The singer and actress opened up in an interview with Parade magazine.

“I’m in a much happier and healthier place now,” Demi said. “So I’ll be able to decide when I need time off. It’s a different era in my career. I’m sure that if I need time off I’ll be able to speak about it and I’ll take a step back.”

19-year-old Miss Lovato also spoke about why she decided to be so open about her breakdown.

“I just realized that once I went into the treatment center, pretty much anything and everything was going to come out anyway. At the same time, I wanted to help other people who shared my issues.”
