Miley Cyrus & Demi Lovato stand up for curvy girls

Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are not only great role models for young girls when it comes to body image issues, they’re not afraid to speak their minds.

Miley is the latest young star to speak out. She hit back at critics who called her fat, by tweeting, “By calling girls like me fat this is what you’re doing to other people.”

She also tweeted two photographs (one, two) to prove her point, and very well she did too.

Pal Demi Lovato, another real girl, replied to Miley with, “god I love you. SO DO YOU!!! And whoever called you that has it coming. Miss you more than ever.”

Miss Cyrus replied, “AMEN! I will destroy any one that ever calls you the F word. You have the SEXIIIESTTTT curvyyyy body! I LOVE IT! #werkthosecurves”

It’s nice to see two girls in influential positions reinforcing positive messages.
