Of The Year Awards: Harry Potter bags best film

To kick off our Of The Year Awards, we can reveal that the winner of Film Of The Year is… Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2).

To celebrate 2011 coming to an end, we want to celebrate the best of the best from the worlds of music, film, TV, style and more. You guys nominated your favourites, then you voted and now we have your winners ready to announce.

In true December spirit, we’ll be announcing one winner per day in the run up to Christmas. Today: Film Of The Year.

The winner of the award, voted for by you guys, is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2) – the final instalment of the hit wizard flicks.

Second place went to Twilight: Breaking Dawn (Part 1) and in third we had hit comedy of the summer, Bridesmaids.
