CBB! Day 10: Housemates Nominate

It’s nomination day! Find out what went down on Day 10 in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

9.01am
As a reward for winning yesterday’s task, Frankie and Nicola have received immunity from this week’s nominations.

Denise and Romeo came last in the task and as a punishment were made to spend the night together, sharing a single bed and trying to sleep to the sound of Michael’s snoring on loop. In the morning, Denise follows Romeo back into the main house and jokes: “I’ve just slept with Romeo from So Solid Crew.”

The rest of the housemates are waking up and starting to get ready for the day. In the bedroom, Michael is complaining to Natalie about Denise and her “constant, constant cackle.” He asks Natalie to “have a word” with Denise and she agrees reluctantly. Natalie goes through to the kitchen area and talks to Denise. “Michael said he cannot take you anymore,” she starts. Gareth and Nicola are also sitting in the living area and join in the conversation. “He’s obviously offended by what you say,” Gareth says. Denise states that she will talk to him but is warned off the idea. “I don’t think it’s worth it,” says Nicola. Denise looks upset and admits that she is having a “wobbly day.”

10.01am
Michael is de-stressing in the gym. In the smoking area, Georgia, Kristina and Karissa are talking about the tense atmosphere in the house, before turning their conversation to the boys. The girls agree that Kirk and Frankie’s change in attitude is down to them being scared that they are “gonna shoot them down.”

In the living area, the talk of tension continues as Gareth talks about his housemates’ drunken behaviour. He says that when housemates have had a drink, the mood in the house changes and it becomes “edgy as f**k.” He also expresses his concerns about Kirk and Frankie’s behaviour when they’re drunk and is worried that they “don’t see the bad side.” Nicola chips in at this point and admits her own drunken behaviour: “Mine was terrible.”

10.43am
Michael is venting in the gym again and spills his annoyance at Denise out to Gareth. He complains of Denise’s “self importance” and “me me me me me me me” attitude. “She talks over people, she needs to shut the f**k up,” he moans. In the diary room, Nicola is telling Big Brother about the “funny atmosphere” in the house and talks of Denise and Michael’s recent rift saying that they “rub each other up the wrong way.”

12.02pm
Nicola, Kirk and Natalie are discussing the upcoming nominations in the bedroom. They all say that they feel bad about wanting to nominate Georgia again. In the diary room, Denise is feeling upset and tells Big Brother “I want to stop being so pathetic in here.” She continues to tell Big Brother that she is “struggling with the Michael thing” and is having a “wobbly day.” She tells Big Brother that she is worried about being herself around Michael incase he takes it the wrong way.

12.42pm
Denise and Michael haven’t spoken all day and are alone in the bedroom. Yesterday, Frankie and Nicola won immunity from eviction but are still able to nominate this week. In the diary room, Nicola nominates Georgia because she feels like “she doesn’t give anything back.” Nicola’s second nomination is for Michael because she feels he can be “blunt and unreasonable.”

In the diary room, Frankie nominates Georgia for “not getting involved in conversations and not making an effort.” He then nominates the twins because they called him a “rude annoying pervert” without really knowing him and they have nothing in common. Natalie is next to nominate and chooses Georgia because she feels they have nothing in common. Natalie’s second nomination is for Michael because he brings a “negative energy” to the house. Kristina and Karissa nominate Michael for his snoring and Kirk for being “mean to Georgia.” Gareth nominates Georgia for being quiet and not involving herself in the group and for aligning herself too much with the twins. He then nominates Kristina and Karissa for forming a “thing” with Georgia and for all of their voices going “up one octave” when they are drunk.
In the garden, Denise is sat alone in the smoking area. Michael is sweeping in the garden and sweeps around Denise, without speaking to her. Denise rolls her eyes and holds her head in her hands.

1.27pm
Gareth is in the bedroom, trying on some of the girls’ hair extensions. In the diary room, nominations are continuing. Georgia nominates Michael as she feels he isn’t “very happy here.” She also nominates Kirk because he has “decided to be an a**hole to me.” Kirk nominates the twins because he feels they aren’t interested in anything about him. He also nominates Georgia because he says he is “trying my best to get to know her” and is getting nothing back. Following his nominations, Kirk goes into the bedroom, lies on his bed and puts his sunglasses on, seeming glum.

Denise nominates Michael simply because “he doesn’t like me.” She then nominates Georgia because she feels: “If we were the last two people on the planet, I’d be exhausted” from trying to make conversation with her. Romeo nominates Georgia because she is “glued to the twins” and doesn’t speak to him. He also nominates Michael saying: “He is a great guy, a legend but I feel tension.” Michael is next to the diary room and nominates Denise: “She is a pretentious, incomprehensible, drunken b**ch.” He then nominates Georgia because he doesn’t understand what she brings to the house.

3.54pm
Georgia is confiding in Michael in the smoking area. “I thought you weren’t happy here,” she says, “I nominated you.” Michael admits that he also nominated her and they joke that they want each other to go. In the bathroom, Nicola and Gareth are talking about the Big Brother experience. “I kept being told it’s going to fly by,” Gareth tells her, “but in the moment it doesn’t go quick at all.” He talks about it being a huge sense of achievement but says “I didn’t think it would be this weird.” Denise goes to sit in the garden with some of the housemates and as she does, Michael gets up to go back into the house. Looking out from the bathroom, Nicola says to Gareth, “I’m so glad I nominated him, I hope other people did.”

8.07pm
Big Brother has gathered housemates on the sofas to announce the nominations. Because she received 8 nominations, Georgia is up for nomination and when she hears her name she smiles and says “ok.” With 6 nominations, Michael is also up for eviction this week and is pleased when his name is announced, “thank you God Almighty and everyone who nominated me” he says adding, “adios.” After the announcement, Denise tells the group “If Georgia goes, I’m gonna walk out with her.”

8.29pm
In the smoking area, Denise and Georgia are having a heart to heart. “Shall I say something to Kirk or not?” Georgia asks, “I thought I was friends with him. I didn’t tell him I didn’t like him.” Denise reassures her not to worry and says “he’s a jack the lad.” In the diary room, Michael is telling Big Brother about his time in the Big Brother house: “I think I’ve had fun and done a good job. I’ve tried my best to be entertaining.” He then reiterates his feelings towards Denise and says “It’s got to the point where I can’t even be in the same room as her [Denise]. [Her voice] is so full of nothingness. The best thing I can do it avoid her.” Big Brother asks Michael how he feels about potentially being in the house with Denise for two more weeks to which Michael laughs hysterically.

9.15pm
In the bedroom, Kirk, Frankie and Michael are downing beers and Frankie shouts “let’s get this show on the road boys!” The twins and Georgia are talking about their assets. “I haven’t seen one good boob job since I’ve been in here,” one of the twins says under her breath. Georgia admires the girls’ boobs and says “I like the shape, they look so natural.” Kristina and Karissa continue to contemplate their breast size and one of them asks the housemate “Do you think I’d look good with a D-cup?” The girls continue to talk about plastic surgery and Georgia talks about what she might like to have done. Nicola adds “I won’t bullsh*t you, your nose could look better.”

11.14pm
Some of the housemates are chilling on the sofas. Michael emerges from the bedroom wearing Denise’s fur coat. Housemates start cheering and Natalie shouts, “are you gonna make up?” “Go and give her a cuddle!” Kirk adds. Housemates continue to laugh with Michael as he goes to walk out into the garden. “That is pimping,” Romeo says and Denise laughs as Michael walks towards her in her coat. “I want to be friends with you,” she tells him and he nestles further into the coat, “I love it, some people would put this on and it wouldn’t work.” Pleased that they have spoken for the first time, Denise laughs “This is the maddest house in the world” and the twins say “that was such a nice gesture.”

12.16am
Denise and Nicola are talking about Michael in the toilet. In the bathroom, Kirk is looking for his pal Frankie and sneaks towards the toilet. As he pushes the door open, Frankie shrieks and says “you’ve come in at the most wrong time you could ever imagine!” Kirk laughs hysterically and Frankie shouts from the bathroom. Denise and Nicola have moved from the toilet and are now talking in the bedroom. “In here it becomes a massive thing,” Denise says about alcohol. Nicola then defends her drunken behaviour from the other night and says “I can be wild, I can be outrageous but I’m 30!”

Now that the ice has been broken, Denise goes to sit next to Michael and cuddles in to him on the sofa. “Are we pals? I miss our pal chat. I’m sorry” she tells him and then apologises for everything she may have done to break their friendship. I’m sorry, even though you’re a dick,” she says sarcastically and Michael replies, “you’re a drunken b*tch.”
