Wondering why Brad Pitt is using a walking stick?

The 48-year-old actor showed off his old man cane at the 22nd annual Palm Springs Film Festival awards gala. Why? Because he had a fall.

“I was carrying my daughter [Vivienne] down the hill and I slipped,” Pitt said. “It was either her or me.”

Bless him! Luckily Brad won’t need surgery, but he’ll need his walking stick a while longer.

Thankfully, it sounds like partner Angelina Jolie digs it.

“I like the cane,” she said. “He’s not that kind of guy. He does everything still.

“Vivie’s okay. She was absolutely fine.”
