Neil Patrick Harris talks to babies like adults

Neil Patrick Harris doesn’t use baby talk when he talks to his babies.

The actor and his partner David Burtka have 15-month-old twins named Gideon and Harper, and Neil speaks to them like they are adults.

“My parents always talked to my brother and myself like we were regular people and not babies,” Neil told People.

“So I don’t talk down to them in baby talk. I try to talk to them even though they can’t speak the language yet.”
