Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch dead at 49

Adam Yauch has lost his battle with cancer.

The co-founder of the Beastie Boys, also known as MCA, was diagnosed wih a cancerous tumor in his left salivary gland in July 2009.

Adam had been battling the late stages of his untreatable case at a New York hospital, sources told the Daily News.

RIP Adam.
