Liam Payne doesn’t know how Justin Bieber handles solo career

Liam Payne loves being in a band, and can’t imagine going it alone.

The One Direction member – who actually auditioned for the X Factor as a solo artist – doesn’t think he would enjoy himself as much without Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

“I think it would be massively, massively boring [going solo]!” said Liam.

“I don’t know how Justin Bieber does it, but full props to him. I like being around the boys. I enjoy other people’s company and it’s a lot more fun being in a band on stage.”

Liam reckons his bandmates motivate him, too.

“There’s so much work in this industry that if I had to do it on my own, I don’t even know what I’d do,” he added. “I’d be very bored and very boring!”
