Matthew McConaughey discusses shooting sex scene with chicken drumstick

Matthew McConaughey was unsure about taking a part in Killer Joe because he “didn’t get it”.

The super sexy actor, who plays Joe Cooper in the flick, was appalled when he read the script – in particular, the part where he would have to strap a piece of chicken to his groin for actress Gina Gershon to fellate.

“First read I didn’t get it. I was appalled by it. I thought it was gross,” the 42-year-old told Metro.

“I then realised it was a dark, dark comedy.”

But what of that scene?

“Honestly man, it was a blast,” Matthew said.

“That’s a scene, when you get the schedule, you look forward to.

“Never seen anything like that before.”
