Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington dead at 41

Chester Bennington has died aged 41, the LA County Coroner has reported.

A report posted by the BBC said that the Linkin Park frontman apparently hanged himself. His body was found in his home at 09:00 local time (17:00 GMT) on Thursday.

The singer, who has struggled for years with alcohol and drug abuse, leaves behind a wife and six children from two marriages.

The popular band have been on the scene since 1996. They have two Grammys and more than 70 million record sales to their name.
