U2 to make ‘club-sounding’ album
U2 are set to make a “club-sounding” album, Bono has revealed.
The singer, who is recovering from back surgery, spilled the beans to Rolling Stone magazine.
Bono said they wanted to release a more rock-inspired album as well.
The group are already planning to bring out the LP Songs Of Ascent, a companion album to their 2009 hit No Line On The Horizon.
Speaking about being rushed to hospital, he said: “There are a lot bigger problems out there than the ones I was facing.”
“But I came out of it perfect. And I feel incredibly grateful.”
U2 are currently on the European leg of their 360 Degree World tour.
