Blue will represent UK at Eurovision Song Contest

OMG! Blue will be representing the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest.

Yes, we’ve heard of them and yes, they’re good – so what the heck are they doing in Eurovision? Could we actually win this year?

The Mirror reports that Duncan James, Anthony Costa, Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan have been working on a new track called I Can.

Duncan told the paper: “We’re celebrating our 10 years together this year, so when the BBC approached us it seemed a great way to mark the occasion and also to be part of something which is still a British institution.”

Will it be enough to bag the UK a win in Dusseldorf on 14th May? The UK don’t usually get too close to winning, hopefully Blue will bring out the best in us.

Jedward could end up representing Ireland in the Eurovision. The twins will join four other acts in the Irish final which will be broadcast on the Late Late Show in a fortnight’s time.
