Strictly Come Dancing Pairings revealed & first reactions
The dancing partners for this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing have been announced and not everyone (Lulu) seemed happy about it!
Tonight’s show saw the celebrities finding out which professional dancer they will be dancing and we saw a few uncensored reactions!
Our favourite McFly drummer, Harry Judd, seemed a little nervous as he waited to hear Aliona Vilani’s name called but we’re sure he’ll be swooshing her about the dancefloor in no time.
Kara Tointon will be keeping a close eye on Holly Valance as she will be getting a little cosy with her boyfriend and last year’s winner Artem Chigvintsev.
Daybreak’s Dan Lobb has been offered the chance to teach Katya Virshilas his moooooves, while Eastender Anita Dobson will be waltzing about the Queen Vic with Robin Windsor.
Poor Lulu seemed slightly concerned with drawing Strictly bad boy Brendan Cole, she even jokingly backed away from him before being hoisted off stage with a fireman’s lift.
Rory Bremner on the other hand was almost speachless to be paired up with Erin Boag.
Nancy Dell’Olio will be showing Anton du Beke what she can do, whilst Robbie Savage was over the moon with his partner Ola Jordan.
Former MP Edwina Currie is partnered with Vincent Simone and Jason Donovan will be breaking hearts with Kristina Rihanoff, who threw herself at her newly announced partner!
The One Show host Alex Jones is sure to put up some stiff competition with her partner James Jordan.
Russell Grant is bound to have seen his partnership with Flavia Cacace in the stars, while boxer Audley Harrison beamed the cheesiest grin we’ve ever seen as he waited for Natalie Lowe’s name to be called.
Completing this year’s line-up is the “single and ready to mingle” Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey with new boy Pasha Kovalev.
We now have to wait THREE WEEKS while the couples get to know each other before their first live on either Friday 30th September or Saturday 1st October. The couples will perform either a Waltz or the Cha-cha-cha.
