Tulisa Contostavlos: X Factor bonkers “a disgrace to the show”
Tulisa Contostavlos has reportedly sacked a group from the judges’ houses stage of The X Factor because they ignored her ‘No Bonking’ ban!
According to a report in The Sun, Tulisa had given her contestants a pep talk about not engaging in anything ‘naughty’ (including sex). She was obviously furious to find out that her advice had been ignored and the Sex Factor was auditioning right under her nose!
The newspaper reports that two girls from one group got close to two boys from another group, while two others from a mixed group got it on.
A source from ITV is quoted as saying: “She had got all the groups together and given them a stern pep talk, telling everyone they needed to act like professionals if they wanted to make the cut. This meant no boozing, no wild partying and certainly no extra-curricular bonding. She made a point about being a strict judge, and telling the guys to respect this if they wanted to progress.”
When she found out, Tulisa reportedly refused to put one group through to the live finals, telling producers they were “a disgrace to the show”.
The N Dubz star defended her decision in an interview, saying she didn’t appreciate contestants thinking they could get one past her because of her party girl persona.
“I think before I started The X Factor there was this perception of me as being a bit wild because of my N-Dubz past…..But hopefully now they see I am not like that at all, and I’m actually very strict with my acts because I want the best for them,” she explained.
