Joseph Gordon-Levitt found shaving his head thrilling and nerve-wracking

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has spoken about the mixed emotions he felt shaving his head for a movie.

In the flick 50/50, the actor plays a young man diagnosed with cancer, and Joseph actually shaves his own hair off in one scene.

“Normally when you’re making a movie, if something doesn’t go right, you can do it again,” explains Joseph.

“But when you’re shaving your head for real, you can’t just go and do that again. There was an added thrill to that but it was nerve-wracking at the same time. I was terrified of messing up.”
