Abbey Clancy saw David Beckham in his pants – and thought he was Ricky Gervais

Is it possible to confuse an almost-naked David Beckham with Ricky Gervais? Apparently so.

That’s exactly what WAG Abbey Clancy did. When Peter Crouch’s wife saw Mr Beckham in his smalls for the launch of his underwear collection for H&M, she thought he was comedian Ricky Gervais.

“I saw those pictures but I thought it was Ricky Gervais when I first saw it!” Abbey said.

“He looks good, but not as good as my Pete in pants.”
