Leona’s attacker sectioned

We were in shock when we first heard about this in the week! Poor Leona. Although thankfully, the attacker has now been charged and sectioned under the mental health act according to Scotland Yard.

Peter Kopwalczyk, 29, is accused of common assault after the X Factor star was punched whilst signing copies of her autobiography, Dreams, in Piccadilly on Wednesday. “I’m very sorry to those I wasn’t able to meet at the signing,” Leona said in a statement after the incident. “Thank you again for all of the lovely messages. Love you all.”
