Rock chick nun, Suor Cristina wins The Voice in Italy

A nun boasting more musical talent Maria from The Sound of Music has won the Italian version of The Voice.

Suor Cristina won the show and the support of millions by belting out tunes like Flashdance…What a Feeling and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, and even performed with the super-sex Ricky Martin.

The 25-year-old thanked the man upstairs and recited the Lord’s Prayer upon finding out she had won, but it doesn’t sound like she’ll be pursuing much of a music career.

“I will go back to my priorities – prayer, waking up early in the morning, school service. That’s fundamental for me to be able to begin something new later on,” Sour Christina told reporters.
