Katy wants her ‘rents to meet Brand!

To be honest, we were a tad surprised at this little union of people. Although it’s Russell Brand, you should never be surprised. And Katy Perry is a pretty girl. It now seems that she wants her parents to know how wonderful Brand is. She doesn’t think they will approve of him because of his sordid past, but she’s hoping once they meet him, they will change their mind.




A well-placed source told The Sun: “They are genuinely happy for their daughter, but want to give Russell the once-over to check that he is suitable. Katy is sure that, after they get used to him, they would approve of Russell, but she wants to get that initial meeting out of the way as early as she can.”




No wonder her parents are unsure… they are both pastors and run a ministry! Good luck Brand!
