Calvin Harris set to headline Summer Sessions 2015!

International superstar Calvin Harris has been announced as the first act to headline Glasgow’s Summer Sessions 2015.

The successful Scottish DJ and producer will perform in front of more than 35,000 fans at the city’s Bellahouston Park on Sunday, 30th August.

It will mark the first time the Scottish artist has performed on home soil since he headlined T in the Park in July last year and stunned fans by having none other than Will Smith join him onstage. By headlining Summer Sessions, he will be following in the footsteps of The Killers, Kings of Leon, Eminem and David Guetta.

Geoff Ellis, CEO of promoters DF Concerts said: “Following on from his incredibly memorable headline performance at last year’s T in the Park, this will be Calvin’s first headline at an outdoor show in Scotland [this year] – so we are thrilled that it will be at Glasgow Summer Sessions. Calvin has previously played two sell-out dates at The Hydro and has toured the world playing his chart-topping tracks, so this will be an incredible gig that shouldn’t be missed.”
