Miley Cyrus is moving out

17-year-old Miley Cyrus is flying the nest and moving into a place of her own.

Despite promising Mommy Tish that she would live in their family home until she was 20, Miley is moving out.

Miley has splashed out on a property which is still being renovated, and is amazed by how well her mommy has taken the change.

“My mom’s stoked! She loves interior designing,” Miley explained. “My house is a loving place. It’s really Zen. I don’t care who you are, you’ll feel like you can just come there and relax. It’s serene, like my own kind of therapy.”

And despite being 17, she isn’t worried about living alone.

“I think I’ve always been independent just because of my job and what I do,” she explained to People magazine. “I don’t feel like I’ve ever just been a kid like everyone else. I don’t care if I’m, like, 100, I just want to have a good time and laugh and giggle.”
