Congrats Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson – ’bout time!

Congratulations to Charlotte Church and Gavin Henson who have finally got engaged!

The pair, who have two children  together , Ruby and Dexter, got engaged secretly after Gav proposed to Charlotte while she was hungover!!

Apparently Gavin did the deed when Charlotte was feeling a bit “sketchy” because she is a lot more “lovey, so I thought she’s definitely going to say yes then”.

When asked about the proposal Charlotte said she was surprised to hear a helicopter, belonging to Gavin’s rugby boss, land in the garden of their home. It whisked the couple off to a seafront restaurant in Truro, Cornwall, which she assumed was a birthday treat until they went for a walk and Gavin went down on one knee. Aww Bless!!

Charlotte is now the proud wearer of  a two-carat heart-shaped diamond engagement ring. Lucky lass!

The pair want to marry on an island hideaway with their children as bridesmaid and page boy.
