Katie Price: “Single will be a flop”
Well you said it!
Katie Price has spoken out about her new single, ‘Free To Love Again’, saying that the track won’t do well as she’s not a credible artist.
Talking to BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat, she said, “I’ve got no record company, I’ve gone straight onto digital, and I’ve done it all the wrong way because you’re meant to bring out a song three months before and get it on the radio playlist but I know that it’s not credible to play one of my songs so I don’t do it the usual way.
“If I’m honest it probably won’t do well in the charts because I’m promoting it the week it comes out when usually people are on the radio and in magazines talking about it before and people have already heard it. I’m jumping ahead before anyone can say it. I’ve said it for them.”
Katie also spoke about singing live, and oddly compared herself to Britney, “These days who really sings live in gigs? They don’t. Get Britney, she’s such a good performer so does it matter if she sings live or not?”
She was also quick to defend the lyrics, claiming they are not about her ex Peter Andre, “I didn’t write the song. All I’ve done is put my voice on it.”
Well, we’re glad you cleared that all up for us. Now can you tell us what’s going on with your face?! Have a look at the new pictures here.
